Head Pastor of the Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), Pst Ransford Obeng has asked Ghanaians not to take things for granted as they enter 2022.
He said it would do Ghanaians a lot of good to make sure God is with them throughout the year.
Speaking during the observation of 31st Night service to herald the new year, Pastor Obeng said God has kept all humans who are alive now by his power and grace.
“Make sure that God is with you. Because we have come this far because of God with us.”
“And If you know that God is for you, it is better than anything. So I want to encourage everyone of us, anytime we are facing difficulties and everything, let us lift up our eyes to God,” he counseled.
Many people are living careless lifestyles and giving in to all kinds of sins just to make a living.
The situation is getting scarier by the day as some believers even give in to sin sometimes, in order to make ends meet.
But the CCC pastor says, “if we can get closer to God and have a better relationship with him, he’ll show us his goodness.”
“Let us lift up our eyes to God and talk to him. He is not far away from us, he’ll hear us.”
He discouraged Ghanaians, especially Christians from going to men who present themselves to be closer to God than everyone, or are more powerful than every other person.
He said “there is only one mediator between God and man. And that is the man Christ Jesus. Forget about resorting to other people, thinking that other people are closer to God than you. It’s a lie!”
