The Chief of Jama in the Kintampo South District of the Bono East Region, Nana Amponsah Gyan says the year 2022 would be fruitful only when everyone puts his or her political and tribal differences aside and work for a common goal.
He said, it is only through this that Ghana can become more attractive for both local and foreign nationals. Nana Amponsah Gyan who is also the Kyidomhene of Nkoranza traditional area in the same Region said when everyone contributes his or her quota towards national development, Ghana could be counted as one of the most highly developed oriented nations in Africa.
According to him, Ghanaians should also sustain the peaceful atmosphere that Ghana is currently enjoying. He said, it is only through when we work together as one people with a common destiny that can attract more progress and prosperity.
Nana Amponsah Gyan urged all politicians, especially the Members of Parliament not to resolve their differences through the use of fighting but rather debate and arrive at consensus. He explained that the recent events in Ghana’s Parliament is a total shame and obviously thwart to our democracy. According to him, MPs are undeniably role models and their actions and inactions must merit their status as honorables.
Nana Amponsah Gyan thanked the people of his area for their support throughout the year and urged them to sustain it in the years ahead in order to attract more development for Jama. “I wish everyone in my area best of luck in the years ahead but we must continue to put our trust in the Lord who is the destiny changer” he added.
