The Deputy Finance Minister ,Dr.John Ampontuah Kumah has commissioned a 35 -seater ultra modern toilet and bath facility for Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) in Kumasi.Speaking to the media, Dr John Kumah who doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ejisu , emphasized the need to construct the facility to improve upon sanitation at the school and ease congestion among the students. The Deputy Minister who is also an old student of the school, disclosed that the construction was necessitated after he had fruitful discussion with the headmaster of the school to release a parcel of land for the
facility.” I have done this because it’s OWASS that has made me what am I today” he added.He revealed that he envisaged of construction modern I CT center to enhance teaching and learning in the school. He charged the students to be discipline and stay away from unnecessary demonstrations and other social vices. He mentioned that old students have put some measures in place to reshape the school landscape.
