The Director General of State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) and Aspiring National Chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng (ASABEE) has urged members of the party to get themselves involved in the registration of members across the various polling stations in the country as decided by NEC and communicated by the General Secretary on the 10th September, 2021.
The Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng made reference to the party’s constitution, Article 3(1) which states, *”Membership of the Party shall be open to all citizens of voting age, without regard to place of origin, circumstances of birth, race, status, occupation, gender, ethnic origin, religion, creed, or other beliefs.”* and admonished existing members of the party to re-register and not to be left behind the reorganisation of the Party. He, particularly called on the youth who have attained 18years and believe in the ideologies of the NPP to also take advantage of this process to enroll themselves to become card bearing members of the New Patriotic Party. “The future belongs to you the youth and, it’s the NPP that has your interest at heart”, Asabee said. “Let’s get to work in unison and together build the party to make it more formidable for the betterment of Ghana”, he added.
Hon. Asabee is emphatic that the NPP is the best political party to manage the country’s economy for the good people of Ghana. “The alternative is scary, no matter how they clothe themselves with new robes and accolades”, said Asabee.
“Our collective ideas, smart thinking hard work as party members will certainly aid us to always achieve the best results and hence the need for all of us to get registered”, Asabee concluded
