The Paramount Chief of Prang Traditional Area in the Pru West District of Bono East Region, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III has admonished all Ghanaians to use Easter season to forgive one another just as Jesus Christ did in order to signify the real Christians.
He said “we must also take a sober reflection on Christ gift of sacrifice by forgiving those who persecuted Him hence we need to embrace His enduring lesson of forgiveness”,he added.
In an exclusive interview, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko said ” As we commemorate the crucifixion of our Lord on Easter, may we reflect on His gift of sacrifice and embrace His enduring lesson of forgiveness.
Let us forgive one another and move on in unity”. According to Prangmanhene, Christ died and resurrected to save mankind and also to offer hopes and aspirations to everyone especially His followers.
The respected Paramount Chief who is an active member of Prang Roman Catholic Church advised all Ghanaians that it is not too late to put their iniquities before the Lord through Jesus Christ and be converted into a new leaf as He has done it before and still doing.
Nana Kwadwo Nyarko explained that when he ascended into the stool some years ago, he had a little knowledge of leading the large group of people but he prayed hardly unto the Lord for the protection and guidance coupled with advised he had from his predecessor uncle, he has able been to rule with honesty, determination, making the area one of the peaceful traditional areas in Ghana.Story by Charles Ampong
